Hull FC have secured the future of four of their young prospects on full-time deals.
Full-back Jamie Shaul, player of the year for the club's Under-20 side, and forward Dean Hadley have signed one-year deals with prop Ryan Wilson securing a two-year deal.
The quartet is completed by the signing of young centre or back rower Alex Starling, who was recently crowned the U18 Player of the Year at the club's annual awards dinner.
Hull's director of rugby Shaun McRae said: "Whilst it's been an eventful month for the supporters with new signings and new contracts for current first-teamers, it is this sort of news that is very rewarding for us.
"We've tracked the progress of our younger players across the last few seasons and noted their development and these are four bright young professionals who have shown enough promise and the right attitude and commitment to warrant a full-time deal with the club."
"Whilst Peter (Gentle) and myself keep a close eye on the younger players in our club, much of this work is carried out by Andy Last, Lee Radford and Danny Wilson and we have had extensive feedback with all three coaches over who should be drafted into the senior setup.
"All four players received glowing references from the coaching staff, not only for their football ability, but their professional and mature approach to the game and the club."
