Chris Wood: penalised by referee Richard Silverwood for the punch
Warrington prop Paul Wood has been cited for punching during his side's Challenge Cup final win over Leeds but will not receive any further punishment.
Wood was penalised by referee Richard Silverwood for the punch on Rhinos centre Carl Ablett during the first half of the Wolves' 35-18 victory at Wembley.
He was charged by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel with a grade A offence, which carries a punishment of up to a one-match ban but put in an early plea to avoid that.
Wood does, though, lose the right to submit another early-guilty plea in the next 12 months.
