Wolves forward delighted to be playing on

Warrington Wolves veteran Adrian Morley insisted he needed to prove his worth in order to secure fresh terms for next season. The 35-year-old has endured an up and down season and wanted to return to his best form to win a new Wolves contract. The former Leeds forward signed a new one-year deal last week and Morley insists his problems are now firmly behind him.

Compete

"I'm no different from any other player," explained Morley. "You want to prove to yourself that you're able to compete at the highest level. "This year has been frustrating and my confidence took a bit of a battering. "My problems are behind me, I'm playing some decent stuff and the club believe I've got another 12 months left in me."
