Green, Petersen and Johnson make dual registration switch

Hull KR have allowed James Green, Dave Petersen and Nick Johnson to join Championship One club Workington on a dual registration. The youngsters have joined up with the Workington squad in time to feature in the Northern Rail Cup derby clash with Barrow this weekend. The players move as part of the collaboration between the two clubs and Robins head coach Craig Sandercock believes it will prove a worthwhile switch for the trio. "I think it'll be a beneficial experience for all three of the boys," Sandercock told the club's official website. "Dave (Petersen) is a real worker who needs to play against men to accelerate his progress, whilst James (Green) has been very close to first team selection so I'm looking forward to monitoring his progress. "Nick (Johnson) has been improving steadily over the past few months and it'll be good for his development to challenge himself in that environment."
