Elland Road: Sold out for Four Nations final

The Gillette Four Nations final between England and Australia at Elland Road is a sell-out.

England's impressive 28-6 win over New Zealand, which secured their place in Saturday's final, sparked a clamour for tickets.

Some 20,000 have been sold this week alone, and the last of the 34,174 were snapped up on Thursday.

"This tournament has really captured the imagination of rugby league fans across the world and it's a shame that many people have had to miss out," said RFL chief executive Nigel Wood.

"We have worked closely with Leeds United to free up as many seats as possible by working around the restrictions caused by the ongoing construction work on the East Stand."

An extra 500 tickets were released for sale on Thursday morning but, with a waiting list of over 1,000, went quickly.

When the two sides met in the 2009 final, also at Elland Road, the crowd was 31,042.
