Dudson and Johnson sign new contracts with Welsh side

Crusaders forwards Gil Dudson and Paul Johnson have both extended their current contracts at the Racecourse Ground. Dudson, a 20-year-old prop who has frequently been involved in first-team duties this season, has committed himself to the club until the end of 2014. Veteran second-rower Johnson, who joined from Wakefield six months ago, has signed a one-year extension that will keep him at Crusaders until the end of next season. "I am thrilled that both Gil and Paul have committed themselves to the Crusaders," head coach Iestyn Harris said. "Gil has performed well for us this season and has shown a lot of maturity. Props don't usually mature until their mid-20s and Gil has all the tools to be a success. "Paul is a model professional who has added a lot to our squad this season. His versatility has proved a real asset to us and he brings a lot of energy to the side."
