Leeds have secured the services of young utility back Zak Hardaker on a five-year contract from Featherstone.
The Rhinos have paid an undisclosed transfer fee and Hardaker will return to Featherstone on loan next season as part of the deal.
The 19-year-old scored 22 tries in only 14 games with Featherstone this season, including two in their Championship Grand Final defeat to Halifax.
Leeds chief executive Gary Hetherington hailed the youngster's potential as the signing was announced.
"Zak is one of the best and most exciting young talents in our game and has the potential to play at the highest level," he said.
"This signing is one for the future and has been funded from the fee received from Canterbury Bulldogs for Greg Eastwood."
