Young back row prospect Elliott Whitehead has signed a new three-year contract with the Bradford Bulls.

Young forward to stay at Odsal until end of 2013

Bradford Bulls back rower Elliott Whitehead has signed a new three-year contract with the club. The 21-year-old, who made his Super League debut last year, will remain at Odsal until at least the end of 2013 under the new deal. Whitehead has established himself as a first-team regular during the 2010 season and is happy to stay on under incoming coach Mick Potter. "I had another year left on my previous deal but they offered me a new contract so I was happy to accept it as I don't want to go anywhere else," he said. "This is my home-town club and I love playing for them. I've enjoyed my time and I am really looking forward to next season and working with Mick Potter." Bradford chairman Peter Hood added: "Elliott has been tremendous for us since he came into the side and we were keen to offer him this new improved deal to reward him for the progress he has made."
