Saints include five internationals in Boxing Day line-up

St Helens have named five international players in their team to face Wigan in Sunday's friendly at Knowsley Road. Up-and-coming England star Kyle Eastmond will be given a run-out, alongside Ade Gardner, Maurie Fa'asavalu and returning pair Scott Moore and Nick Fozzard. The line-up will also feature a host of youngsters, including first-team newcomers Lee Gaskill and Jack Bradbury. "The team that will face Wigan certainly has one eye on the future," said Saints coach Mick Potter.

Debut

Former Bradford skipper Paul Deacon will make his debut appearance for home-town club Wigan after being selected for coach Michael Maguire's first squad. The scrum-half is the Warriors' only close-season signing and is one of 10 senior players in 20. Another is prop Eamon O'Carroll, who will make his return after being sidelined since March with two broken metatarsals in his foot.
