Leeds will be without Luke Burgess for the derby against Bradford after the prop was suspended for a reckless high tackle.

McGoldrick suspended for Easter fixtures for striking with forearm

Leeds prop Luke Burgess will not play against his brother Sam in the Good Friday derby against Bradford after being banned for a reckless high tackle. The Rhinos forward was cited by the Rugby Football League's match review panel following his side's 22-18 Challenge Cup defeat by St Helens. Burgess, the older sibling of Bulls forward Sam, was found guilty by the RFL's disciplinary panel and suspended for one game. He was also fined £300. Meanwhile, Castleford's Ryan McGoldrick has been banned for two games for striking with the forearm while carrying the ball.

Easter fixtures

The utility back, who was also hit with a £300 fine for the incident in the cup win over Keighley, cannot feature in the Tigers' Easter fixtures against Wakefield and Warrington. Les Catalans' Clint Greenshields was ordered to pay £300 for a careless tackle in the Dragons' triumph over Bradford but escaped a suspension. Huddersfield prop Eorl Crabtree was found not guilty of striking with his knees in the Giants' win over Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop. Hull FC stand-off Richard Horne had already been let off with a caution on Monday for a high tackle in his side's 22-18 defeat by Salford.
