Hooker wants momentum maintained against Warrington

Keiron Cunningham is determined St Helens maintain their Super League dominance over the Warrington Wolves on Friday night. The veteran hooker, who looks set to retire at the end of the current campaign, has enjoyed a succession of victories against Saints' local rivals. Indeed, the Wolves have a woeful record in the fixture - recording just one win in 33 Super League meetings between the teams. And as both teams conclude their build up to Friday night's fixture Cunningham is keen to see his team continue their miserly streak at Knowsley Road. "They have a very good squad of players," admitted Cunningham. "Their first 17 is unbelievable, almost like a world-class side, players you'd like to have in your side. "The day will come when the record does get broken and we'll be disappointed when that day comes around. "But, as long as I'm around the club, I'd like to think it's not going to happen, not on my watch." The additions of England hooker Mickey Higham and Hull prop Garreth Carvell have strengthened an already fearsome looking Warrington line up, but coach James Lowes is refusing to get carried away. "We don't make bold, rash statements," he said. "The only prediction is that you will get 110 per cent from this team." See if Wolves can break their Knowsley Road hoodoo live on Sky from 7.30pm.
