Prolific half-back commits to Dragons

Thomas Bosc has inked a new three-year contract with Catalans Dragons. The half-back, 25, is now committed to the Perpignan-based club until the end of the 2011 season. He finished second in the 2008 engage Super League scoring chart behind Wigan's Pat Richards with 245 points, and is currently in Australia as part of France's World Cup squad. "I'm delighted to extend my contract," he said. "I'm very close to the club. "We have improved a lot since our debuts in Super League and I'm sure we will continue our progression with a new coach and a competitive squad." Dragons general manager Christophe Levy added: "This is a fantastic news for Catalans. Thomas has done a great job for the club over the last three years. "He made a lot of progress since his debut in Super League to become a very skilful player. He's an iconic player for the club and a product of the academy."
