Leeds Rhinos captain Kevin Sinfield has called for a repeat of last year's surprise Grand Final win over St Helens.

"It's all set for a great game again and hopefully we can surprise people."
Kevin Sinfield Quotes of the week

The two sides meet at Old Trafford on Saturday in a repeat of the same fixture 12 months ago, when the Rhinos prevailed 33-6.

Saints, who finished top of the regular season engage Super League standings, won the qualifying semi-final 38-10 when the teams last met on September 19.

"It's massive for the club and the players, especially now that people are starting to write us off and that Saints already have their name on the trophy," Sinfield told Sky Sports News.

"What a great challenge for us to prove everyone wrong - I just think that these are special moments.

"All we can do this week is prepare as well as we can. I think we have everyone fit and raring to go.

"It's all set for a great game again and hopefully we can surprise people."

Sinfield's opposite number Keiron Cunningham is hoping to erase painful memories of last year's Grand Final meltdown.

"We went into it as favourites last year and came away scratching our heads over what went wrong," said the Saints skipper.

"Leeds were just outstanding, they totally outplayed us and the best side won on the day.

"It will be the same on Saturday night."
