Hull KR captain Michael Vella has successfully appealed against a one-match ban.

Rovers skipper will face Bradford

Hull KR captain Michael Vella is free to continue his ever-present record in Super League XIII after successfully appealing against a one-match ban. Vella, cited for alleged use of the forearm during Rovers' 26-18 defeat by Wakefield last Saturday, was found guilty when he appeared in front of the Rugby Football League's disciplinary panel on Tuesday. After being found guilty, Rovers felt they had valid grounds on which to appeal. An appeals panel upheld the guilty verdict but ruled there should be no further action so Vella is now available to lead Rovers in Sunday's engage Super League game at Bradford.
