Fisher: New Rovers deal

Hull KR hooker Ben Fisher has signed a new three-year contract that will keep him at Craven Park until the end of the 2011 season.

The 27-year-old has produced a number of match-winning performances since joining the Robins from Halifax in 2006.

As a result, head coach Justin Morgan admitted he had no hesitation in offering the Scotland international an extension to his current deal.

"Ben is an integral part of the team and has all the attributes that we are looking for in a top-class hooker," said Morgan.

"He is not only a very determined individual, he is an extremely hard worker both on and off the field.

"He certainly has what it takes to lead our forwards around the park and challenge any defensive line."
