Castleford's Luke Dorn has signed a one-year contract extension that will keep him at the Super League club until the end of the 2016 season.

Former London Broncos full-back Dorn, who has scored 141 tries in 221 Super League appearances, is in his second spell with the Tigers.

Castleford coach Daryl Powell said: "I'm delighted that Luke has agreed to stay at the club for another year. He has shown again this season what a pivotal figure he is for the team when he's playing well, and I'm sure he will continue to do that for the next two years at least.

"His speed in attack has been outstanding and his voice within the group has been a big contributing factor to our improvement as a team."

Dorn, who captained Castleford against Huddersfield in the absence of Michael Shenton last month, said: "I am enjoying my time at Cas and it was a no-brainer for me.

"I am just excited that I will continue to be part of what we have created here for another year."
