Super League: Warrington Wolves rule out Richie Myler leaving for Hull KR

Warrington Wolves have poured cold water on speculation scrum-half Richie Myler could join Hull KR on loan for the 2015 season.

The Robins have been on the lookout for playmaker reinforcements following Kris Keating’s release and Travis Burns’ close-season switch to St Helens.

Hull KR did land former Gold Coast pair Albert Kelly and Maurice Blair at the weekend, however, that did not dampen talk of a possible New Craven Park switch for the 24-year-old.

Warrington have now attempted to clarify the situation by confirming Myler, who has one year remaining on his Halliwell Jones Stadium contract, is staying put.

“There is no interest from us in letting Richie Myler go. It’s just message board rumours. There has been no contact from us with Hull Kingston Rovers,” chief executive Andy Gatcliffe told the Warrington Guardian.
