In-form Warrington Wolves have extended the contracts of six British players, including winger Gene Ormsby.

Winger Ormsby and forward Anthony England have agreed contract extensions keeping them with the in-form Super League club until November 2016.

"We are delighted to be securing their services for an extended period and feel that they will all continue to develop in the manner in which they already have in the time they’ve been with us."
Smith on new deals

Twins Rhys and Ben Evans, and James Laithwaite have signed new deals until November 2017, while young forward George King has also agreed a full-time contract with the club until the end of 2016.

Wolves head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith welcomed the news, saying: "All six have shown what capabilities they’ve got and have been performing consistently well in recent times.

“We are delighted to be securing their services for an extended period and feel that they will all continue to develop in the manner in which they already have in the time they’ve been with us.

“I am delighted for us to be continuing to develop these players, and others, and that we are once again showing stability within the group as that’s one of the strengths of our club.”
