Sky Bet's rugby league expert asks who in Super League can step into Sam Burgess' shoes?

Sky Bet's Jordan Fiddes gives his view on this weekend's games.

Rugby League was rocked by the news that Sam Burgess will be switching codes at the end of the season, but it's not all doom and gloom coming into Round Two of Super League. There is now the opportunity for domestic based players to fill the void left by Burgess as Rugby League's marquee player. Luke Walsh of St Helens made his claim last week with a Man of the Match display on his debut and has since been cut to 4/1 to win this year's Man of Steel award. His Saints side are huge favourites to make it two wins from two against Hull FC this weekend and have a -14 handicap to contend with. They have been cut to 11/4 to finish the table top and overcoming tonight's handicap will please a few punters who have backed that.

Hot on the heels

Close on their tails for glory this year are Leeds Rhinos - 4/1 for Grand Final glory - and face a Warrington side comfortably beaten by rivals St Helens in Round One. Brian McDermott's men got their 2014 campaign started in similarly emphatic fashion to the Saints and have a -8 handicap tonight - double in size compared to this fixture last season. Like Walsh before him, Tom Briscoe also marked a memorable debut for his new club, claiming a hat-trick against Hull KR. He's a strong 17/2 to score the first try against the Wolves tonight - especially considering he scored a brace in his last game against them for Hull FC. Tony Smith hasn't beaten his old side at Headingley since May 2011 and they are a healthy 12/5 to repeat that this year. They'll have to do it the hard way though with - favourite for Young Player of the Year - Matty Russell still absent in the starting line-up. In his place, Stefan Ratchford is 2/1 to cross the whitewash anytime - something he averaged every other game in 2013. Senior Says... In what was a highly successful year for Huddersfield Giants last year - despite not reaching the Grand Final - winger Jermaine McGillvary was at the forefront of their prowess. Scoring 19 tries in 27 appearances for the Fartown club, he was the grateful recipient of Danny Brough's creativity through the middle. Scoring a hat-trick in his first game against Wigan, former Leeds Rhinos legend Keith Senior is backing him to cross anytime tonight. Not only that but he also sees a comfortable win for the home side stating: "Hull KR have a big pack and competed well with Leeds for 40 minutes but the Rhinos superior fitness then took over. "I expect a similar sort of thing to happen this week and with McGillvary having scored three on the opening day, he'll be looking for the ball as often as possible." Huddersfield -12 and a McGillvary try - 6/4 Fiddes Fancies Tom Briscoe to score the first try tonight and Catalans +4 against Castleford on Sunday - 18/1
