Hull KR v St Helens: First Utility Super League preview
Last Updated: 27/03/15 7:40pm
St Helens travel to Hull KR on Friday seeking their first victory at the KC Lightstream Stadium in eight attempts.
The reigning First Utility Super League champions have won their opening six fixtures but head coach Keiron Cunningham is expecting a tough test against a Robins side that scored 50 points in their last home game.
"Hull KR is always a tough place to go and we know our track record there isn't the greatest," said Cunningham.
"But we can't change what has happened there, it is the past and it won't even come into my thinking in our preparations this week.
"It is about what is happening this week and how you mentally prepare for that. I'd like to think we will fight for everything to get those two points. If we prepare well then we will be difficult to beat.”
Cunningham has made one change to his 19-man squad for the trip to east Yorkshire. Joe Greenwood misses out with an elbow injury and is replaced by Mark Flanagan.
Hull KR were beaten by Widnes last Sunday but they are boosted by the return of Aaron Ollett from a long-term knee injury.
Ollett’s last appearance came against the London Broncos in July 2014 but he is expected to feature against Saints after replacing the injured Greg Burke in the squad.
Hull KR: Kieran Dixon, Ben Cockayne, Darrell Goulding, Josh Mantellato, Ken Sio, Maurice Blair, Albert Kelly, Adam Walker, Kevin Larroyer, Graeme Horne, Tyrone McCarthy, James Donaldson, Liam Salter, Kris Welham, James Green, Aaron Ollett, Terry Campese, John Boudebza, Shaun Lunt.
St Helens: Kyle Amor, Travis Burns, Matty Dawson, Mark Flanagan, Lance Hohaia, Josh Jones, Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Tommy Makinson, Mose Masoe, Greg Richards, James Roby, Andre Savelio, Adam Swift, Luke Thompson, Jordan Turner, Alex Walmsley, Paul Wellens, Jon Wilkin, Atelea Vea.
