Trent Robinson: Not underestimating Sheffield Eagles
Catalan Dragons coach Trent Robinson will take no chances against Sheffield Eagles in the Carnegie Challenge Cup after naming a strong 19-man squad.
The Eagles, who famously won the trophy in 1998 but are now playing in the Championship, will be massive underdogs when they travel to Perpignan for the fifth-round tie on Saturday.
But Robinson has no plans to field an under-strength side as the Dragons attempt to reach the final for the second time in five years.
Clint Greenshields is suspended, with Louis Anderson, Gregory Mounis, Damien Blanch and Frederic Vaccari missing out through injury.
Robinson has included experienced duo Thomas Bosc and David Ferriol, who both missed last week's defeat at Leeds through injury. Eloi Pelissier and Cyrille Gossard also come back into the squad.
Sheffield hooker Andrew Henderson, who will be going up against younger brother Ian, knows his side face a tough task but still thinks an upset is possible.
"It will be a tough ask but you never say never in the Cup because anything can happen," Henderson said.
"Leigh ran them close in the Cup last year and, if we can stay strong defensively, then we have every chance of sneaking an upset."
