Warrington captain Adrian Morley is set to return to the Wolves line-up for their Super League qualifying play-off with Huddersfield on Friday.
Morley made a surprise return from vision problems against Wigan two weeks ago but was once again absent from the final game of the regular season against Hull FC after undergoing eye surgery.
But the prop is now available again and has been named in Tony Smith's 19-man squad for the clash at Halliwell Jones Stadium, which will be shown live on Sky Sports HD 2.
However, second rower Ben Westwood is still absent as he continues to be sidelined with a knee ligament injury he suffered in August, so the only change sees Lee Mitchell drop out to accommodate Morley.
The Wolves are fresh from topping the end-of-season table for the first time in 38 years but head coach Tony Smith has warned against underestimating the Giants, who knocked them out of last season's play-offs.
"The Giants have been a very good team all year," he told Warrington's official website.
"We've had some tough tussles with them over the last couple of years, we'll seem to get the wood on them and then they'll get the wood on us.
Exciting
"It's been an exciting couple of years every time we've played them and I've got no doubt that it will be similar on Friday. They knocked us out last year but we'd like to think we're in a lot better position now and have learnt a lot since then."
The winners of the clash will progress to the semi-finals, while the losers will still get a second chance against the winners of one of this weekend's elimination play-offs.
Huddersfield will have to cope without Leroy Cudjoe, who picked up a knee injury in the defeat to Leeds last Sunday, while his usual partner in the centres, Joe Wardle, is also still missing with a back problem.
Danny Kirmond could play for the first time in almost a month after replacing Dale Ferguson in Nathan Brown's 19-man squad, while David Hodgson is also in contention to return.
The visitors have only won two out of their last eight matches in all competitions but captain Kevin Brown remains confident that his side can come away with a result.
He told the Giants' website: "We are confident and we know we're coming up against a good side.
"If we can play to our best then I'm sure we can put ourselves in with a good chance of winning the game. We're really looking forward to the game and I'm sure it'll be a cracker to watch."
