Former Hull centre Craig Hall is set to make his debut for Rovers in place of the suspended Jake Webster as they bid to bounce back from last week's narrow defeat at Warrington.
Hooker Ben Fisher is still sidelined with the hamstring injury which forced him out of that agonising 24-22 loss, so second rower Matt Cook comes into the squad for the first time this season.
The Dragons are still without injured full-back Clint Greenshields, but coach Trent Robinson will give a debut to former Wakefield centre Daryl Millard, which will free the versatile Jean-Philippe Baile to return to the forwards.
The French side are still looking for a first win of Super League XVI after slumping to a shock 38-14 home defeat by Wakefield last weekend.
Rovers squad: Cockayne, Galea, Green, Newton, Hall, Clinton, Hodgson, Netherton, Welham, Colbon, Watts, Cook, Dobson, Vella, Fox, Murrell, Wheeldon, Taylor, Briscoe.
Dragons squad: Blanch, Farrar, Sa, Stacul, Dureau, Ferriol, Henderson, asty, Menzies, Raguin, Mounis, Gigot, Gossard, Millard, Simon, Fakir, Paea, aitieri, Pelissier.
