Tickle: Seven kicks
Hull moved ahead of Warrington in the play-off battle after a comprehensive 46-14 Super League victory at the KC Stadium.
The two sides started the match tied on points in a battle for fourth place in Super League, but Warrington were no match for Hull on the day.
The visitors started the game well and were leading 14-12 heading towards half time, but Shaun Briscoe's try ensured Hull went in 18-14 ahead, and they never looked back from there.
Hull wracked up eight tries in all with Danny Tickle booting seven kicks, while Warrington did not help themselves as Paul Wood was sent off 17 minutes from the end.
Wolves take the lead
Martin Gleeson put Warrington ahead with the opening try on 13 minutes, but Willie Manu levelled up with Hull's first try seven minutes later.
Gareth Raynor grabbed the first of his two tries on 26 minutes but Henry Fa'afili then crossed the line twice in three minutes to collect his 18th and 19th tries of the season.
Briscoe made sure Hull went in ahead though as he went over on his return from a broken jaw, when he beat Stuart Reardon to Motu Tony's kick through to score.
Second half blitz
The start of the second half saw the decisive move by Hull, starting with Raynor's second try of the day as he went in at the corner from Tickle's clever cut-out pass.
Garreth Carvell touched down for his try before Tony ducked in under the posts on 50 minutes and later bagged a second try.
Matters got worse for the Wolves as Wood was red carded for a high shot on Scott Wheeldon as Warrington's frustrations bowled over.
Richard Horne grabbed a deserved try and Tickle added a sixth and seventh kick to seal a comfortable victory for the Black and Whites.
