Verdict

Paul Dixon: "Scott can't be here, he's an usher at the wedding of the brother of his partner. He tried everything to get out of it but there was no way. He'd been working well at home and I think his sire (Cockney Rebel) is very underrated for a Guineas winner. Young Matthew has done all the work on him at home and that will do his confidence the world of good. Mr Turner came up to me to say we had a nice horse which means a lot seeing as this is 'his' race."
