Verdict

Willie Carson: "I bought him at Doncaster (for 12,000guineas). I quite liked him but I'd three by Three Valleys before and they were all no good. He had a good walk on him and I ended up putting my hand up. He'll be better next year. We can make the most of the family thing when he wins a Group One!"

Anthony Carson: "He's only done a couple of pieces of work and they weren't spectacular. That's why we ran him, to see where we were with him. He's big and backward and needed a run."
