Verdict

Laura Pike: "He was running off a career-high (mark) and I wasn't quite sure how he'd cope with the weight, carrying a 6lb penalty, but he's done it really nicely again. The plan was to track the leader and nothing blocked me in so I got a nice lead off it. He got a bit tired at the last bit, but he just held on."
