Verdict

Phil Kirby: "I don't know what it is but we seem to have plenty of winners here. They all seem to run well here and I hope to keep the run going for a bit longer yet. He had top weight but he'd slipped to a decent mark and the way the race was run played right into our hands. In his last two or three runs he's looked as if he was coming back to himself. Whether it took him a while to find his feet after moving from Newmarket (William Jarvis), I don't know. Hopefully he'll go hurdling and he should be a nice horse for the future. There's no major rush with him and hurdling is where we'll go I think, we've played over hurdles with him."
