Verdict

David Storey: "It was a bit of a disaster in the Hunt Cup last time and we were worried about the weights against the three-year-olds. He's a credit to his trainer as that was a career best at the age of seven. He will probably go for the International (at Ascot) over seven furlongs in three weeks' time."

Graham Lee: "He battled hard, he's a big-race winner before today and he's a proper horse."
