Verdict

Henry Ponsonby: "We've been patient with Tiger Cliff and this was only his second race on grass, but we've always liked him. I know Henry (Cecil) has him pencilled in for the Northumberland Plate but we want to go one step at a time - and it would be ground dependent. He wants to get his toe in and I was disappointed that there hadn't been any overnight rain here - but he has done it quite nicely."
