Divisions of this maiden have a good recent history having fallen to the useful Field Day in 2009, Sariska in 2008 and saw Dar Re Mi finish second in 2007. The latter's trainer won the first division and completed a quick double with THE FUGUE who only need to be pushed out to score, attracting quotes of around the 20-1 mark for the Guineas. A half-sister to a winner at up to two miles, her sire may impart more speed than her sibling has inherited whilst a number of his progeny also progress well with age. The owner's racing manager commented that they were hopeful of a big run (something that wasn't reflected in the market) and that they regard her as a nice prospect for the future. She comfortably accounted for a more experienced rival in Salacia who stepped up on the form of her debut at Yarmouth to finish a clear second despite possibly doing a little too much in front. The remainder finished in rather a heap but were led home by a stablemate of the winner who took a notable step forward from her debut over the same course and distance earlier in the month. No Compromise set the standard and headed the market and kept on well enough for pressure on the stands' side rail without ever threatening, she is now qualified for a mark. The stoutly bred Keene's Dancer showed ability and can be expected to come into her own next season. Heyaaraat dropped out rather tamely but this big filly travelled noticeably well until entering the deep and may well prove capable of leaving the bare form behind in time; she is likely to need a trip next season.
