Verdict

BABY RUN came into the race at the top of his game and he made all in dashing fashion to give the Twiston-Davies family a remarkable 40-odd minutes after Imperial Commander's Gold Cup success. Jumping accurately out in front, he was pressed in the early stages bu Chesnut Annie and Kilty Storm but he always seemed to have matters well in hand and was never headed. Very few got into the race and Kilty Storm kept on well for second while Reach For The Top also raced prominently for much of the trip and kept up the gallop to claim third place. Roulez Cool was sent-off joint-favourite and having travelled in mid-division came under pressure same way out and came a cropper at the fourth last.
