Verdict

After another bump up the handicap the weight eventually told on Garde Champetre though he was still in with a chance over the last three fences as were half the field. Sizing Australia suffered most in the scrimmaging as the field bunched around the final bend but it was A NEW STORY who bounded clear to land the spoils. He's been placed in this race before and though he was out of the handicap the 7lb claim from his jockey more than offest that and he was a worthy winner. Enda Bolger had a say in the finish as L'Ami plugged on well for second while Lacdoudal did well to finish third as he was always in the firing line. Another Jewel stayed on for fourth without threatening under Davy Condon.
