MISHEER gained ample compensation for her defeat at Royal Ascot with a convincing win under Neil Callan. Reportedly receiving treatment for a back niggle prior to the Queen Mary, her trainer Clive Brittain knew she had more to give and duly proved it as she routed this bunch. She flew up the stands' side and was well clear of Albany Stakes heroine Habaayib. The Moyglare Stud Stakes in Ireland is next on the agenda. The runner-up was held up and came through with her challenge approaching the distance but was always trailing in the wake of the impressive winner. Ceedwell and Capercaillie were behind the winner at Royal Ascot and once again got a rear view of her - but this time from even further back. Lady Darshaan was held up at the rear in the early stages but progressed towards the front rank in pleasing fashion without really threatening the first two. Raddy 'ell Pauline ran better than her final finishing position suggests and was right there at the distance before fading. Little Scotland sat on a pretty furious pace up front and those exertions took a toll. Surely her sights will be lowered in a bid to get a tick in the win column.
