Verdict

Two from two this week for the USA as JEALOUS AGAIN routed her field with an impressive display. Keeping it simple for two year olds can be the key and she burst from the stalls took the runners along and just went further clear under John Velasquez to score by five lengths. Velasquez and trainer Wesley Ward have perhaps their best runner of the week on Friday's Albany Stakes in the shape of Aegean and the way things are going she could score by a double-figure margin! The previously unbeaten Misheer headed the home challenge at a very respectable distance and she in turn was clear of another two fillies boasting 100 percent records in Ceedwell and Capercaillie. For that trio to be put so firmly in their place suggests Jealous Again is something very special indeed. Lady Royal Oak was able to match the winner for pace for about two and half furlongs but she soon folded in a heap and finished last while Rose Blossom and Don't Tell Mary could never land anything like a telling blow.
