Verdict

A good pace was present from the start, set by Dabbers Ridge down the centre of the track. Two furlongs out, Dabbers Ridge gave way as a whole host of challengers loomed. Little White Lie moved through to hit the front, with Regal Parade also quickening up. The pair fought out a keen dual, a length or so clear of the remainder, until Lovelace arrived on the scene with a strong late challenge. Little White Lie had got first run however and ran on well to win, with Lovelace a closing second at the line, and Regal Parade running a good race in third, Mastership also doing well, staying on strongly in fourth.
