Verdict

Billy Dane chased up Den's Gift in the early stages at a very good tempo. Den's Gift kicked on with two furlongs to go, going a couple of lengths clear. Billy Dane came back in the final furlong with a renewed effort but they were both overhauled in the closing stages by Habshan, delivered wide, who came through with a steady challenge and kept on well to score from the gallant Den's Gift and Billy Dane in a race few got into.
