Verdict

A straightforward success for the well-backed favourite Red Dune here as she made every yard of the running to win well; Just Like A Woman stayed on well for a closing-in second, whilst Insaaf ran a better race today to finish third. The winner pinged the stalls and was soon in an uncontested lead and whilst her rivals were struggling with two furlongs to run, she was still cruising on the bridle. She found plenty for pressure when asked and whilst she was starting to run out of puff near the line, she was comfortable enough. Just Like did well coming out of the pack, but fancied horses such as Badweia and Astrodonna never threatened to feature.
