LUSH LASHES is enjoying a remarkable season and she showed her versatility to win this Group One over a mile. The Musidora winner ran well in the Oaks at Epsom as well and turned the form around from the 1000 Guineas with Spacious, Infallible and Nahoodh, who had all finished in front of her at Newmarket. Kevin Manning sent her about her business at the two-furlong marker and she soon had the race in safe keeping. Infallible cruised into the race and went in vain pursuit of the winner - she looks like she will be suited by an easier mile or even a drop back to seven furlongs. Spacious could not muster the pace to get into a challenging position but kept on for fourth and a step up to 10 furlongs will be more than likely. Carribean Sunset is extremely consistent and ran another smart race in third while front-running tactics from Nahoodh just set things up for everyone else.Muthabara was the eyecatcher and did some nice work late in the day. Despite her win in the Fred Darling, she has taken time to come to herself and could have a good second half to the season.
