Verdict

SABANA PERDIDA improved on her third place in the race 12 months ago with a well-timed run down the stands' side under Christophe Lemaire. His late thrust could not be repelled by favourite Heaven Sent, who looked all set to score when she drew a couple of lengths clear inside the final furlong. But Ryan Moore was left still searching for his first win at the Royal meeting when his mount started to tire in the closing stages and began to hang towards the middle of the course. Majestic Roi travelled well in the middle of the pack and she may have finished a little closer if allowed to start her run a fraction sooner.Baharah was too keen for her own good and her exertions meant she trained in last.
