Verdict

KYLLACHY RISE was only beaten a length-and-a-half by subsequent easy winner Cape Peron on his reappearance at Newbury. Outclassed in the Qipco 2000 Guineas three weeks ago, he drops back to 6f here but should have the pace to beat these. Pearl Bridge goes the other way having raced exclusively over 5f so far. He probably needs to improve a little and Baron Run also has an extra furlong to cover having finished second in a Yarmouth maiden last month. Nurpur has had plenty of chances over a variety of distances but Milkwood went close on a few occasions last year and Grey Gazelle made a promising start at Newbury and is open to plenty of improvement.
