Verdict

KALDOUN KINGDOM is only 2lbs higher than when winning at Doncaster in March and he can defy top-weight today; Iver Bridge Lad, Tombi, Ingleby Lady, Baldemar and Lowdown join Parisian Pyramid on the list of dangers. With his good young jockey's valuable 5lb claim the selection looks capable of running well at a track he excels at. Any rain wouldn't be a worry at all and a bold run is anticipated. As it is from new stablemate Valery Borzov (love any rain) and Baldemar (well-weighted, nicely handicapped, and also a fan of wet weather). Sunraider is intriguing if coming here and a 7lb higher mark than at Haydock last time doesn't look prohibitive, Hawkeyethenoo flopped at Hamilton but is better than that and should love this flat track, whilst Novellan Lad and Tiddliwinks both come here on the back of solid efforts in defeat. The very progressive Lowdown holds Damika on their Scottish Stewards' Cup run at Hamilton, Parisian Pyramid's beating of Johnny Mudball in May looks excellent as does his form since, whilst Ingleby Lady drops in grade and was so impressive here in May off a 5lb lower mark. Iver Bridge Lad ran a blinder behind Fireback at Newmarket's July meeting, however we are happy to plump for Kaldoun Kingdom.
