Jamie Spencer has ridden the winner of the last two renewals and Mind Of Madness should go close. Well beaten over 6f last time, he was runner-up over today's trip in the Norfolk at Ascot before that which is presumably why Spencer prefers him to Qatar Racing's other runner Cool Strutter. Moonraker is another who failed to last home over 6f on his latest start but won over the minimum trip on his debut while Al Fareej made the frame in Listed company at Newbury last time. Lightscameraction ran well at Deauville last week despite the heavy ground, but SHOWING CHARACTER gets a speculative vote to keep her unbeaten record intact having won both starts to date over 5f at Chester.
