The Hannon yard has not won this since the turn of century but has strong claims in this year's renewal. BAITHA ALGA has been rested since winning the Norfolk Stakes at Ascot in good style having landed a double over today's longer trip before that. He's just preferred, despite his penalty, to stablemate and Listed winner Beacon. Kevin Ryan bids for hat-trick of Gimcrack wins with Teruntum Star but the latter found Fendale too good in a conditions race at Musselburgh. The Great War was well beaten by the selection at Ascot and was just behind Jungle Cat and Muhaarar in the July Stakes at Newmarket last time while Ahlan Emarati has come up short at this level on three occasions now. Irish raider Accepted is unbeaten and makes more appeal than Aussie Ruler and Glenalmond.
