    Verdict

Kevin Ryan holds strong claims here, running both He's A Humbug and Wi Dud and we will side with the last named, Elhamri looks the pick of the others. The selection was an impressive winner here on his debut and was then upped in class at Goodwood next time out. He ran a blinder to get within a short head of Enticing in that Group three event. The extra furlong should suit and a big run is expected. He's A Humbug was most impressive, on his Thirsk debut, he travelled smoothly throughout and put the race to bed in a matter of strides. There is plenty of scope for improvement and he looks a danger to all. Elhamri beat today's rival Conquest at Ascot before landing the Weatherby's Supersprint. With a similar performance today he should be in the shake up. Bodes Gallery and Armigerent complete a fascinating field in which Wi Dud just gets the verdict.
