Three-year-olds have won the last two renewals and Rainbow Springs has to go on the short-list though she has been disappointing on too many occasions and had a simple task to lose her maiden tag at Goodwood. After a couple of victories in handicaps early last year, Contredanse landed a Group 2 in Italy and has raced at a very high level subsequently. She didn't run at all badly at Saint-Cloud last time and an entry in the Yorkshire Oaks suggests more is expected of her. SAJJHAA is also entered for that Group 1 here and also just about every other major event this side of Christmas. A Group 3 winner in Italy on soft ground, she ran a fine race behind Midday in the Middleton Stakes here in May before a moderate effort in the Windsor Forest Stakes at Ascot. She's expected to bounce back from that and take this as the remainder have plenty to find.
