Verdict

Perhaps not the best renewal and a good opportunity for ENROLLER to gain a Group Two win; most opposition may come from Royal And Regal. Willie Muir's stable star was a bit disappointing at Goodwood last time but is better than that run. His previous effort at Newmarket behind Doctor Fremantle over an inadequate trip was a good run and he certainly won't mind if there is any rain during the week. Askar Tau looked below-par on his reappearance; a visor is applied for the first time and the stable are in better form so it would be foolish to rule out the horse who was so progressive as a three-year-old. Baddam has looked a shadow of his former self of late and is hard to fancy, as is Macorville although he has run well at the track before. Drill Sergeant's latest run, in a competitive Goodwood handicap is solid, however this is a tougher assignment, whilst Royal And Regal has been given three months off since almost pulling up here in the Yorkshire Cup. If back to his best he must go close however a safer option may be the selection Enroller.
