CROWN PROSECUTOR didn't show his true ability at Goodwood and can bounce back today. In a rough renewal of the Vintage Stakes Brian Meehan's colt was buffeted around before stumbling but he wasn't knocked about after and with the stable in grand form we are likely to see better today. Opposing any Richard Hannon two-year-old is dangerous especially as Casual Glimpse is now stepped up in grade and there are many other options in the yard that could have come here, whilst Approve was just ahead of him at Epsom in June but has improved since. Dubawi Gold and Sir Reginald both remain capable of better. Super Sprint hero Temple Meads shapes as if he will relish this longer trip (and his trainer has always felt he would), and along with Shropshire and Gold Pearl (whose form reads excellently) helps make this a fantastic renewal.
