Verdict

Stipulate must surely go close for Lady Cecil if the blinkers have the desired effect. He was just touched off over 1m2f in the grade at Goodwood last time and has plenty of solid form over this longer trip. Questioning beat Twice Over in a Group 3 at Newmarket early last year and would have to go on the short-list if recapturing that form but Pintura needs to step up again from his win over 7f here three weeks ago and the three-year-olds, Baltic Knight and Sir Patrick Moore, look up against it at the weights. LADYS FIRST won a Listed race over this trip on similar ground at Haydock last year and her two runs this season over slightly further suggest she retains all of her ability. Richard Fahey's filly can get her head back in front today as Quick Wit has been found wanting in this grade in the past.
