Verdict

Godolphin are yet to announce any plans for the Derby or the Royal Meetings, but MOONLIFE can book her ticket to either Epsom or Ascot with a big run today. Nashmiah puts the 1,000 Guineas form to the test and is respected in this easier grade, while Arabian Mirage showed she retains plenty of ability with a solid fourth-place in the Nell Gwyn at Newmarket last month. Obviously, Brian Meehan's charge needs to step things up a few notches but she is going the right way and is worthy of a place in the line up. Nashmiah was a length adrift of the selection at headquarters last October, so is not without a chance of reversing the form. However, she was left for dead in the Guineas and now has a bit to prove. Therefore, it can pay to stick with Moonlife, whose stable is going great guns and this lightly raced filly is expected to improve for this first try at a mile.
